The modern, contemporary QS 104 speaker stands have a simple aesthetic appeal. This extremely discrete and rigid speaker stand will improve the sound quality and appearance of your Spendor speakers.

The open-frame style design of the QS 104 Speaker Stands compliments the classic cabinet design of Spendor Speakers. The four 1in electro-resistant steel columns, Interface Dampening Gaskets (IDG), and hand-finished Acoustic Steel™ top-plinth with isolation pads assembles into a very rigid stand highly resistant to resonance. All aspects of the QS 104 are customizable allowing you to setup your Spendor Speakers exactly how you want.

The QS104 stands can be optimized for your Spendor speakers, by filling the welded support columns can be filled with Inert Filler that increases the initial mass of hte speaker stand. This tunes the bass response of your speakers to suit your room and your preference.

Made to your exact dimensions these handmade, hand-finished, and hand-polished stands provide unmatched rigidity for your Spendor Speakers. These Fully Welded Stands from Custom Design take approximately 6 hours to manufacture making them the most labor-intensive type of stands.

The stands are manufactured from 1in x 1in (25mm x 25mm) electro-resistant steel tubes (ERW BS EN 10305-3) with M8 zinc plated base isolation spikes supplied as standard. If required, filling holes for inert filler can be incorporated to dampen the vertical supports and top sections. standard finishes for the open frame design are black or white fine texture powered coating.

For something a bit different, the Concept speaker stand offer an 'avant-garde' approach to speaker stand supports. The two most releveant aspects of speaker stand design are rigidity and mass. The Concept is the result of deeper exploration of the relationship between these two parameters. Multiple anchoring points of the cross-bracings coupled with a full acoustic steel frame, make for a very rigid, "crate-like", low impendence energy transferring speaker stand.

To provide suitable support for Spendor speakers, unique open frame design approach features a unique horizontal cross bracing to provide a unique single energy transition material from the speaker cabinet to the isolation points. This creates a better pathway of resonance dissipation that more effeciently removes vibration noise with a single-steel piece from speaker to floor.

The Concept stands are designed to have the minimal influence on the speaker's characteristics and prevent anything from affecting the sound and music the speaker engineer had originally wished for their customer to experience. The stand creates a minimal impedence energy transfer support system that traps potential interference and removes it.

Hand-finished cross bracing supports available in Black, White, Mercury, Chrome or Brushed-Chrome finishes to accompany the black acoustic steel frame.

Custom Design's FS 104 Signature speaker stand design has proven itself over many years to be the ideal speaker stand for many loudspeakers. It is known for its abilities to combine bass control with neutral impact while not taking away other desirable attributes of a loudspeaker. When deployed in the service of Spendor speakers, this tried and true bespoke design produce sound with good bass timing and open, precise stereo imaging that is exciting and dynamic. This design avoids the dullness or closed-in sound usually encountered with Spendor loudspeakers on some of the other clunky stands out there.

The FS 104 Signature variation for Spendor speakers benefits from the stands original bespoke design which includes a very rigid 3" (76mm) ERW BS EN 10305-3 center column and four 1" satellite support columns tied together by unique ‘H’ shaped top and bottom plates that together form a tight box frame structure with no unnecessary mass.

The loudspeaker is supportred by a top plate fabricated from Custom Design's Acoustic Steel™ which is a sandwich of two steel plates joined together by a resonance energy absorbing polymer. The absorbs vibrations from both the loudspeaker cabinet and the stand itself, turning them into heat that is then channelled down the stand away from the speaker - rather than introuducing unwanted colorations in the sound.

The unique ‘H’ shaped Acoustic Steel™ top plate is not just decorative. It is designed to better fit the loudspeaker cabinet footprint, putting the satellite columns closer to the corners of loudspeaker, where their support can be the most effective, particularly in the case of the Spendor speaker cabinets. The satellite columns of can be finished in Black, Chrome or Brushed Chrome.

The center column of the Spendor FS 104 Signature speaker stand can be filled with Inert Filler to tune the bass response of the speaker to your room and your preference.

The Custom Design SQ 404 speaker stands are perfectly suited for the larger, more substantial Spendor Speakers. The stand features four square steel columns and inert Acoustic Steel™ 4mm top and 5mm base plates that are precision laser cut, hand polished and finished before being electro-statically powder coated. The 2" x 2" hand-polished ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel square columns are affixed with zinc plated M8 fixing bolts for total joint rigidity and supplied with zinc plated M8 base isolation spikes.

The HOS 505 feature a 5 column center + satellite design. All of the columns are manufactured from ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel, each stand incorporates Custom Design’s Acoustic Steel, as well as premium fixings, all focused toward creating a speaker support that delivers rigidity and doesn’t “color” the sound of your Spendor speakers. Performance improvements to the dynamic range of your Spendor speakers will be more open and free compared to conventional, central, mass loaded designs.
