Custom Built Speaker Stands for ATC Speakers

The ATC 302 Speaker Stands combines twin 3-inch (76mm) ERW BS EN 10305-3 (electro-resistant steel tubes) column supports with 4mm acoustic steel top and steel base plates for greater strength with rigidity. Based on the Award-winning design of the RS 302 speaker stand, the ATC 302 is a discrete, rigid speaker support stand with an initial mass of 13kg and delivers substantial strength and integrity. They provide a modern and contemporary design with true aesthetic appeal, and audiophile functionality.

The ATC 302 stands feature a 4mm Trapezium-shaped Acoustic Steel*™ top plate (160-front x 210-rear x 120mm-depth) to compliment the cabinet design of the speaker and laser precision cut, hand finished 4mm CR4 oiled and pickled steel base plates (), which combine to provide a completely rigid and isolating speaker stand mount with the ability to control and fine tune the bass frequency by mass loading the support columns with Inert Filler.

The ATC 302 Speaker Stands are available in Black or White finish and a standard height of 610mm (24in), not including base isolation spikes. Custom heights are available upon request, call our showroom for details. The stands are also supplied with easy access, Allen-key adjustable, Black Zinc plated M8 base isolation spikes, as standard.

* - Acoustic Steel - Constrained Layer Dampening Process - Is a sandwich of two steel plates joined together by a resonance energy absorbing polymer. The polymer absorbs vibrations from both the loudspeaker cabinet and the stand itself, turning them into heat that is then channeled down the stand away from the speaker - rather than introducing unwanted colorations into the sound.

ATC FS 106 Speaker Stands are equipped with Full Trapezium-shaped laser precision cut, hand finished Acoustic Steel ™ Top Plates and laser precision cut, hand finished oiled and pickled CR-4 steel base plates for a superior surface finish. The twin 3in center columns, as well as the 1inch satellite support columns are manufactured from ERW BS EN 10305-3 (electro-resistant) steel, and the center support columns can be mass loaded with our Inert Filler.

The unique design features a 4mm Acoustic steel top plate, which allows for the Constrained Layer Dampening Process, to be effective. To dissipate the resonance energy away from the speaker cabinet, Acoustic Steel ™ converts it into negligible heat. A full, precision laser cut 4mm base plate, provides a solid foundation to provide a completely rigid and isolating speaker stand mount that also give you the ability to control and fine tune the bass frequency in your listening space by mass loading the center support with Inert Filler.

The ATC FS 106 Speaker Stands are available with a Black or White finish for the center and satellite support columns and Brushed Chrome or Polished Chrome are available as optional extras for the satellite support columns. Each stand is supplied with easy access, Allen key adjustable, Black Zinc plated M8 base isolation spikes and covers.

Custom Design's FS 104 Signature speaker stand design has proven itself over many years to be the ideal speaker stand for many loudspeakers. It is known for its abilities to combine bass control with neutral impact while not taking away other desirable attributes of a loudspeaker. When utilized with ATC speakers, this tried and true bespoke design produces sound with good bass timing and open, precise stereo imaging that is exciting and dynamic. The 5-column satellite support design avoids the dullness or closed-in sound usually encountered with some of the other clunky stands out there.

The FS 104 Signature variation for ATC speakers benefits from the stands original bespoke design which includes a very rigid 3" (76mm) ERW BS EN 10305-3 center column and four 1" satellite support columns tied together by unique trapezium-shaped top and ‘H’ shaped bottom plates that together form a tight box frame structure with no unnecessary mass.

It is designed to better fit the loudspeaker cabinet footprint, putting the satellite columns closer to the corners of loudspeaker, where their support can be the most effective, particularly in the case of the ATC speaker cabinets. The satellite columns of can be finished in Black and White with Polished Chrome or Brushed Chrome avialable as optional extras.

The center column of the ATC FS 104 Signature speaker stand can be filled with Inert Filler to tune the bass response of the speaker to your room and your preference.

The Custom Design ATC SQ 404 speaker stands are perfectly suited for the larger, more substantial ATC Speakers. The stand features four square steel columns and inert Acoustic Steel™ 4mm top and 6mm base plates that are precision laser cut, hand polished and finished before being electro-statically powder coated. The 2" x 2" hand-polished ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel square columns are affixed with zinc plated M8 fixing bolts for total joint rigidity and supplied with zinc plated M8 base isolation spikes. All four columns of the ATC SQ 404 can be easily mass loaded with our Inert Filler and provide a totally rigid, inert speaker stand support. Stereo imaging and precision timing provide more excitement to your listening experience with an accurate and more controlled bass performance.

The ATC SQ 404 speaker stands are designed and manufactured by Custom Design to provide the perfect isolating solution for speaker cabinets. Speaker cabinets resonate most in the middle of the cabinet, therefore the best possible isolation point is the corners of the cabinet, which resonate the least. That is why Custom Design provides a top plate to compliment the speaker cabinet. Also, the ATC SQ 404 is the most mass-fillable of all custom design support stands, allowing the utilization of the most Inert Filler for even greater control and impact.
