Custom Design's Vinyl Storage Module is an attractive stand-alone unit to store your vinyl records or as a base unit to which the Milan Reference shelf units can be added for a complete Hi-Fi Stand.
The Vinyl Storage Module’s side pieces are made of solid real Oak, real Walnut, or real Ash hardwoods in a range of finishes including Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Satin Black, and Satin White finishes. The shelves are fully tempered Clear or Black 10mm thick glass with polished edges and a gentle front radius curve. The combination of hardwood and rigid glass offers excellent acoustical properties. Glass is durable and easy to maintain. Each shelf-unit can support 110lbs/ 50kg. The unit comes with footpads rather than spikes.

Considerable attention is given to the details because every incremental step helps to cross the threshold to the next level of fidelity.
Sound quality can be further improved by using Custom Design’s iRAPs (Isolation Resonance Absorption Platforms), which are available an optional extra. The iRAPS are highly effective in isolating components from resonance within the equipment stand and absorbing resonance generated by the component itself. The Milan series of stands are designed as furniture to house Hi-Fi components rather than be utilitarian post + shelves storage solution. But while looks are important, these stands have a beneficial effect on sound quality and the modular design enables super-easy expansion and simple assembly.
