The Custom Design FS 205 speaker stand is a larger version of the FS 105 stand comprising of a black 3" ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel central column surrounded by four 2" satellite columns creating a totally rigid speaker stand. The satellite support columns are available in Black as a standard finish, with Chrome or Brushed Chrome finishes available as optional extras. The FS 205 benefits from a 6mm top plate made of Acoustic Aluminum that measures 6.5" x 7" and is the only speaker stands in the world with this feature! The 5mm base plate of the FS 205 measures 8.7" x 10.2" is manufactured from precision laser-cut steel in a sculptured curved design having a minimal appearance with little influence on your speaker's potential performance.
4 Boxes (8 bags) of Inert Filler are included, as standard, and when it is loaded into the central columns, performance improvements are substantial, especially to the dynamic range which seems more open and free compared to conventional central, mass loaded designs. Stereo imaging and precision timing bring more excitement to your listening experience all with an accurate and controlled bass performance.
