Custom Design's FS 106 speaker stand is a bigger version of the popular FS104 Signature Speaker Stand with a larger top plate for deeper stand mount loudspeakers. Four 1" satellite support columns and two 76mm (3in) ERW BS EN 10305-3 central columns provide the rigidity.
In the FS 106 Speaker Stand, a laser precision cut 4mm thick inert Acoustic Steel™ top plate is mated with an "H" shaped bottom "plate".
Both 3" central columns can be easily mass loaded with Custom Design specially selected Inert Filler and bass performance is governed by the amount of filler used. The plates and columns are secured with high quality zinc plated M8 fixing bolts ensuring these parts fit together firmly and the spikes can be easily adjusted from the top with the Allen Key wrench provided.
The stands are physically suitable for many stand mount speakers and with their good looks will enhance the apparent value of the loudspeakers. But it is the sound quality obtained that differentiates these support stands from many others including more expensive ones. The FS 106 speaker stand combines bass control with neutral impact not taking away other desirable attributes the loudspeakers may have. Good bass timing, open precise stereo imaging with an exciting and dynamic sound is achieved in comparision to other clunky stands that often impart dullness and a closed in sound.

The standard FS 106 stand is 24"(610mm) tall, with an acoustic steel top supports measuring 190 x 240mm (7.5 x 10.2in) , 200 x 320mm (7.9 x 12.6in), or 220 x 280mm (8.7 x 11.0in) and finished Black for the center and satellite support columns. Chrome and Brushed Chrome satellite column finishes and custom heights are available as optional extras. A special edition of this stand is available for the Totem Fire v2 with a top support measuring 220 x 280mm (8.7 x 11.0in)
