Custom Design FS 104 Open-Frame Speaker Stands

The Custom Design FS 104 speaker stand is a classic minimalist open frame design within the FS series of loudspeaker stands and is essentially the FS 104 signature stand but without the central column. Four 1" support columns offer solid four point isolation and a high degree of rigidity. The light-weight frame elements have minimal influence on speakers dynamic performance.

The 4mm thick top and bottom plate sections are Laser precision cut and hand finished. The top plate is fabricated from inert Acoustic Steel™, while the bottom plate is oiled and pickled CR4 Steel. High quality zinc plated M6 fixing bolts are used to ensure these parts fit together firmly to provide a stand with total integrity and a high degree of rigidity. Reflecting the attention to detail and standards of quality, the spikes can be easily adjusted from the top with the Allen Key wrench provided.

Particularly for small bookshelf-sized loudspeakers, some heavier loudspeaker stands overly dampen the speaker cabinets resulting in a dull sound and this is difficult to predict. The Custom Design FS 104 Open Frame speaker stand has the advantage of being more neutral to start with allowing loudspeakers to perform as intended.
