Custom Design Isolation Spikes are manufactured from solid carbon steel and then plated with either Zinc or Nickel. Available in two sizes (M6 & M8) the isolation spikes feature an allen Key adjustable facility, a design exclusive to Custom Design. THe M6 isolation spikes have a 32mm long thread and have M8 have a 40mm lonog thread.
The Nickle plated M8 Isolation Spikes are submitted to an extra heat treatment cycle which changes the properties of the original material, increasing the hardness, the ductility, strength and impact resistance.
